A ledger is a transaction history of an Account.
An account is created for everything in HysabOne, Contacts, Cash/Bank Accounts, e.t.c. Invoices and Payment Receipts are considered Transactions.
Ledgers show all details of each transactions, for Invoices, it shows complete items, and lets you open the respective Invoice with just a tap.
You can filter data for specific date ranges.

Double-Entry Accounting
Every Plus (+) needs to have an equal Minus (-) to maintain balance.
Send 10 to A, Take 10 from B.
Send 100 to Supplier. Take 100 from Bank.

Double-Entry is one of the core-accounting principles which is often neglected today, even in some of the leading Accounting Softwares.
The principle is basically that if Account A gets money (debited), then another account, Account B, must give that amount of money (Credit).
This is a very realistic rule. For example, if you send some money to your Supplier, you obviously got that money from somewhere, either your cash reserves or your bank account. So in this scenario, your Supplier was Debited 100 USD and your Bank Account was Credit 100 USD.
This adds 1 layer of security to your Accounts. If your employee adds a Fraudulent / Fake entry, you will see its effects in 2 places, in the Contact’s Ledger and Balance and your Cash/Bank Account’s Ledger and Balance.

Cash / Bank Accounts

You can setup different Tax Groups that have multiple Tax Rates within. For example, Tax Group “8% Car Sales Tax” may cover “5% Import Tax” and “3% VAT”.
You can link this Tax Group to an Item in your Invoice. In the Invoice Details and PDF, it will specify 8% Tax Rate in the Item Details, and in the Total Summary section, it will display the 5% Import Tax and 3% VAT separately.
This is a very satisfactory feature for customers. Providing more information, builds more trust.

You can share a Ledger in HysabOne with anyone directly from the mobile app.
